In that moment, a part of you may freeze or withdraw to avoid the intensity of what’s happening. While she’s never physically harmed, she witnesses her mother enduring abuse. As a result, a part of her soul disconnects to protect itself from the trauma. This girl eventually becomes a woman who struggles with chronic sore throats and finds it difficult to express herself in romantic relationships. She often attracts overbearing partners and experiences heartache as a result. Determined to break this cycle, she seeks healing, and during the process, the lost soul part is ready to return. This aspect of herself helps her reclaim her voice, stand up for her beliefs, and establish healthy boundaries in her life.

These healings are swift and direct, cutting right to the root of the issue, but their effectiveness hinges on your intention.

In the example above, the woman may feel a surge of courage to end her unhealthy relationship a few months after the session. She might also notice that she begins to attract a new circle of friends and romantic opportunities that are more supportive, balanced, and loving, enriching her life in profound ways.
